N-Lone-D 300, or the legendary “deca”, is one of the best-tested SAA on the market. It is essentially 19-nortestosterone. It was first described in 1960. On prescription prescribed from 1962. Prohibited in sport from around 1975. Synthesized in 1950. His application was sought to control fertility in men, to treat hemodialyzed patients, to treat aplastic anemia, to treat patients suffering from AIDS, after surgery or accident, to protect the immune system after chemotherapy, to treat osteoporosis and general wasting.
In some countries, various anabolic steroids are used to “accelerate” the growth of slaughter animals, which could have painful consequences for athletes (more on this). All SAA and derivative substances are currently prohibited in sport, listed on WADA lists.
Metabolism of N-Lone-D 300
N-Lone-D 300 falls into:
- 19-norandrosterone (19-NA; 3α-hydroxy-5α-androstan-17-one)
- 19-Noretiocholanolone (19-NE; 3α-hydroxy-5β-androstan-17-one)
- 19-Norepiandrosterone (19-NEA; 3β-hydroxy-5α-androstan-17-one)
The same metabolites appear in the body after using “prohormones” such as 19-norandrostenedione and 19-norandrostenediol. Every year, 19-NA metabolites are detected on average in 0.23% of the tested samples. In 2004, 169.187 339 samples were those with the Deca metabolites (0.20%). Since 1988, there has been a steady downward trend in the detection of 19-NA metabolites, which should not come as a surprise, because by the end of 2012, N-Lone-D 300 was the worst choice of all anabolic-androgenic drugs on the market.
That is, at the end of 2012, a new SAA detection method (long-term metabolites) was implemented and, until now, “undetectable” steroids eventually became available in tests. Only suicides used N-Lone-D 300, in the years 2000-2015 in the weightlifting agents such as masteron, metanabol, winstrol were popular, oral turinabol or oxandrolone (this can be deduced from the avalanche of doping related to the implementation of the new method).
N-Lone-D 300 induces a sharp jump in the amount of Nandrolone decanoate in the blood plasma within 24-48 h after injection. The peak level lasts up to 5 days and gradually decreases for a further 20-30 days. At the same time testosterone suppression is powerful, a single dose of 100 mg blocks effectively for 25-30 days. Therefore, subsequent injections can be administered every 5-7 days and obtain satisfactory results.
Is N-Lone-D 300 dangerous for health?
Paradoxically, if we read into scientific research, the conclusions will be at least surprising. What does trenbolone have to do with N-Lone-D 300? Almost everything. Trenbolone is N-Lone-D 300 with double bonds between carbon molecules: ninth and eleventh, which inhibits aromatization, increases the strength of attachment to the androgen receptor and slows down the breakdown of compound.
One of the most dangerous measures on the market, namely trenbolone, in animal studies proved better than testosterone, it was shown that trenbolone protected rats from fat deposition, hypercholesterolemia and … myocardial damage! Meanwhile, there are dozens of reports that extremely mild N-Lone-D 300 caused fibrosis, congestion and renal inflammation of rabbits.
Moreover, N-Lone-D 300 in doses of 4 and 10 mg per kilogram of body weight, twice a week for 6 months, caused fibrosis and inflammatory infiltration of the heart.
